The story of Samjaya Healthcare Limited began with a simple yet powerful belief—that quality healthcare should never be determined by a person’s financial circumstances, geographical location, or access to resources.
Formerly known as Sri Lakshmi Group of Hospitals, our journey is one of perseverance, compassion, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to improving lives. Over nearly two decades, we have grown from a single neighbourhood hospital into one of Bengaluru’s rapidly expanding multi-speciality healthcare networks, trusted by thousands of patients and families across Karnataka.
A Vision Inspired by Real-Life Experience
The foundation of Samjaya Healthcare was built long before our first hospital opened.
As a physician serving in Government Primary Health Centres, Dr. Sambashiva A.C. witnessed the everyday struggles faced by patients seeking specialised medical care. Many travelled long distances for treatment, delayed essential procedures due to financial limitations, or simply accepted illness because quality healthcare was beyond their reach.
These experiences shaped a vision that continues to define our organisation today.
Together with Mrs. Jayamala, Dr. Sambashiva set out to build a healthcare institution where advanced medical technology, experienced specialists, and compassionate patient care would be available under one roof—without compromising affordability or ethics.
That vision became the foundation upon which Samjaya Healthcare Limited was built.

In 2007, the first chapter of our journey began with the establishment of Sri Lakshmi Hospital in Kaggadasapura, Bengaluru.
Starting as a community-focused hospital, our goal was straightforward:
